The Team
THE PARTNERS
Mike Wevill FCA
Mike trained with the firm and became partner in 1972. He is the managing partner at the Launceston office, in charge of the day to day running of the practice. He has a wealth of experience in all aspects of accountancy but his interest in the more technical aspects of tax has led him to specialise in tax planning. Mike’s hobbies include motorsport, fishing and golf.
Colin Hill FMAAT
Colin joined the firm in 1972 and became partner in 1999. His clients cover a wide range of industries and his particular interest in diversification, growth and added-value has resulted in his specialism in business development. Colin’s office is a negative free zone and his favourite word is indefatigable.
Out of the office he enjoys football, gardening and music.
Andrew Baker FCA
Andrew joined the firm in 1988, passing his Chartered Accountancy examinations in 1993. He became partner in 1999 and since 2002 has been the partner responsible for the firm’s Tavistock office. Andrew enjoys dealing with local businesses and has considerable expertise in corporate taxation. Away from work he enjoys a game of snooker or cricket (if the weather allows) and is a trainee local preacher in the Methodist church.
THE REST OF THE TEAM
At Potter Baker we are always looking for great people and understand how imperative it is to get the best team. The breadth of the skills, qualifications and experience in our team enables us to provide access to the specialist knowledge our clients require and offer more than the standard accounting service. With 20 staff covering our Launceston and Tavistock offices we are big enough to make a difference but small enough to care.
